Delete Account

You can submit a request to delete your KoeLink account and associated data from the app or from the web. Apple requires apps that support account creation to let users initiate account deletion in the app, and Google Play requires both an in-app path and a web resource.
If you can still access the app, the fastest path is Profile > Delete account and data. KoeLink signs you out after the request is submitted and completes deletion within 30 days unless limited retention is required. If you choose to sign in again before deletion is completed, the pending request will be canceled and you must submit a new request if you still want deletion. If you cannot access the app, email support from the address connected to your KoeLink/Google account.
In-App Deletion
- Open KoeLink.
- Sign in with the Google account connected to KoeLink.
- Go to Profile.
- Tap Delete account and data.
- Confirm the request. KoeLink will submit the deletion request, sign you out, and complete deletion or anonymization within 30 days.
- Do not sign in again if you want the pending deletion to continue. If you choose to sign in again before deletion is completed, KoeLink will ask you to confirm that the pending request should be canceled and the account reactivated.
Web Deletion Request
Email support@koelink.app with the subject "KoeLink Account Deletion Request". Use the email address connected to your KoeLink Google Sign-In account when possible.
Include the country/region where you use KoeLink and a short statement that you want your KoeLink account and associated data deleted. Do not send passwords, payment card numbers, or sensitive documents unless support specifically requests verification through a secure channel.
What Is Deleted
- Account profile identifiers in active KoeLink systems.
- Saved notes and translation content stored as notes.
- Active app sessions and refresh-token families.
- Account-linked quota and usage records where retention is not legally or operationally required.
- Request logs are deleted or anonymized according to the Privacy Policy retention schedule.
What May Be Retained
- Limited billing, tax, refund, fraud-prevention, security, legal, dispute, and backup records where retention is required or justified.
- Records retained for these reasons are minimized and are not used to reactivate your deleted account.
- Backup copies may take up to 30 days to expire unless a legal hold requires longer retention.
Timing
In-app and web deletion requests are reviewed and completed within 30 days after account verification unless a legal, security, fraud-prevention, billing, dispute, or backup reason requires limited retention. We normally complete straightforward requests sooner.
If you choose to sign in again before deletion is completed, the pending request will be canceled and your account will be reactivated. If you still want deletion after signing in again, submit a new request.
