Privacy Policy

KoeLink is an Android keyboard and companion app for voice and text translation. This Privacy Policy explains what information we process, why we process it, how long we keep it, and how you can request deletion.

We design KoeLink so voice audio is processed only to provide the requested translation and is not stored by KoeLink after the request completes.

Information We Process

  • Voice audio you submit for speech recognition and translation. KoeLink processes this temporarily and does not store the audio after the request completes.
  • Translation text and translation results. KoeLink does not store raw translation text or results by default unless you choose to save them as notes.
  • Saved notes, including source text, translated text, language metadata, and timestamps.
  • Account information from Google Sign-In, such as your Google subject identifier, email address, display name, profile image URL, and verification state.
  • Device and app information, such as install ID, app version, platform, locale, token-family metadata, and limited attestation/security metadata.
  • Usage, quota, diagnostic, and request metadata, such as request ID, timing, language pair, audio size, success/error status, quota operation records, and server error codes. Production logs do not store raw transcripts by default.
  • Support communications you send to us, including your email address and the content of your request.
  • Billing and subscription metadata after paid plans launch. Payments are processed by Google Play or another payment provider; KoeLink does not collect full payment card numbers.

How We Use Information

  • Provide speech recognition, translation, saved notes, account sessions, quota enforcement, subscription entitlement, and customer support.
  • Secure the service, prevent abuse, detect fraud, debug failures, and enforce request limits.
  • Operate, monitor, and improve KoeLink without using your saved notes, voice audio, or translation content for advertising.
  • Comply with legal, tax, accounting, platform, and regulatory obligations.

AI and Infrastructure Providers

KoeLink may send voice-derived text, typed text, and translation context to configured speech recognition, language model, hosting, database, monitoring, and support providers only as needed to provide and protect the service. The exact production provider list must match the deployed configuration.

Depending on deployment configuration, providers may include Supabase, hosting providers, Google services, Google Play Billing, OpenAI, DeepSeek, or other speech/translation providers. Provider privacy, security, retention, region, and model-training terms may differ. KoeLink will not intentionally use user content for advertising.

Retention

  • Voice audio: processed temporarily for the real-time request and not stored by KoeLink after the request completes.
  • Translation text/results: processed for the request and not stored by KoeLink by default. If you save a note, the saved note is retained until you delete it or delete your account.
  • Deleted notes: removed from the active notes view immediately and scheduled for permanent deletion from active databases within 30 days.
  • Request and diagnostic logs: retained for up to 30 days by default and do not include raw transcripts in production unless a separate debug mode is deliberately enabled outside production.
  • Quota, abuse-prevention, and security metadata: retained for up to 24 months where needed to operate quota, investigate abuse, and protect the service.
  • Account profile and authentication metadata: retained while your account is active. When you submit an account deletion request, KoeLink signs you out and completes deletion or anonymization of active account identifiers within 30 days unless retention is required for billing, security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, or dispute handling. If you choose to sign in again before deletion is completed, the pending request will be canceled and you must submit a new request if you still want deletion.
  • Billing, tax, refund, and legal records: retained as required by applicable law, payment-provider rules, accounting obligations, and dispute-resolution needs.
  • Backups: may retain deleted data for up to 30 days before backup expiration, unless a longer legal hold is required.
  • Support requests: retained for up to 24 months after closure unless a longer period is required for legal, safety, or dispute reasons.

Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your information for third-party advertising. We may share information with service providers that process data for KoeLink, with payment providers for subscriptions, with authorities when legally required, or during a business transaction subject to appropriate safeguards.

Security

KoeLink uses encrypted transport, backend-issued access tokens, refresh-token rotation, server-side quota enforcement, and service-role-only database access. Android clients do not receive Supabase service credentials.

Your Choices and Rights

  • You can request account and data deletion in the app or at https://koelink.app/delete-account. If you choose to sign in again before deletion is completed, the pending request will be canceled and you must submit a new request if you still want deletion.
  • You can contact support@koelink.app for privacy, support, deletion, and access requests.
  • You may have additional rights depending on your region, such as access, correction, deletion, portability, objection, restriction, or appeal rights.
  • If you use Google Sign-In or Google Play Billing, you can also manage relevant Google account and purchase settings through Google.

Children

KoeLink is not directed to children and is not intended for users under the age required to consent to digital services in their region.

International Processing

KoeLink is intended for international use. Your information may be processed in countries where KoeLink or its providers operate. Before public launch, KoeLink must confirm that deployed providers, data regions, and transfer mechanisms match this policy and applicable platform declarations.
